Toxicological Profile for Metals in Alzheimer Disease

Abstract:

In this paper is presented the influence of contaminated-metals food on the Alzheimer disease. Alzheimer is a neurological disease which affects millions of people around the world. Over the time, the studies did not succeed to establish the cause that triggers the disease, but there are several factors that sustained its occurrence. One of this risk factors are the toxic metals found in the human body. The intoxication might be caused by dietary. Metals like Cd(II), Pb(II), Hg(II), Zn(II) don’t have a known biological role and the exposure to these metals is associated with neurodegenerative disorders.
